Dried pistachio contains different types of defects like adhering hull, black and yellow stained, crinkle shell, and foreign material; these defects cannot be detected by neither mechanical machines nor color sorters. Pistachio is more complex than any other nut in terms of shape and color. The common sorters machines can only detect color of pixels which is not enough to distinguish pistachio types. This machine enables detecting perfect pistachio from defected pistachio utilizing artificial intelligence and image processing. Only choose defect type, sorting will be done!
